The team over at Denver’s RMG Engineering has made a killer infographic with ten reasons explaining why Red Rocks Amphitheatre is one of the most amazing venues in the country. Nay, on the planet. And we could not agree more. But, hey, we’re pretty biased.
“We decided to make this infographic as part of a series of Amazing Engineering Feats that we are featuring on our website,” explained Robert Smith, spokesman for the Denver-based structural-engineering firm. “And since we love Colorado and, of course, structural and geotechnical engineering, we thought everyone else would enjoy this, as well.”
The graphic includes some lesser-known facts about the historic venue, including the ridiculously low buying price that the city paid for it, as compared to what it would cost today. When asked what their personal favorite aspect of Red Rocks is, they say in the most minimalist way possible, “The beauty.” Same.
