Oh, man, gang! Lock up your liquor cabinets. We just caught wind that the combustible former members of the Blackout Pact will be reconvening next week for a show — their first since splitting up over two years ago. While we knew the guys were getting back together to record a new album for Eyeball (which we’ve since heard will be recorded by Chris Fogal at his Black In Bluhm studio), we figured the prospects of seeing the band live again were kind of slim. Shows what we know. Catch the Pact with Mustangs and Madras, Anchor Down, Scooter James and Espirit De Corps next Friday, January 23 at Old Curtis Street. — Dave Herrera
