Wishing you were at San Diego Comic Con but stuck at work/home? Wondering how you can fulfill your nerd quotient for the day? Or maybe you just always wondered what might happen if someone were to combine the world's most famous zombie video-game series with the infamous cancan song?

If you answered yes to any/all of those questions, have we got something special for you!

See, some enterprising and, presumably, completely bored Japanese gamer with too much time on his hands (and/or a moderate case of OCD) cut up and respliced sounds and scenes from the Resident Evil games to create this lovely rendition of the cancan song (apparently the galop infernal from Jacques Offenbach's Orpheus in the Underworld if Wikipedia is to be believed). Anyway, it's quite amusing, especially for fans of the game. How many of your favorite scenes can you spot?

Keep Westword Free... Since we started Westword, it has been defined as the free, independent voice of Denver, and we would like to keep it that way. Offering our readers free access to incisive coverage of local news, food and culture. Producing stories on everything from political scandals to the hottest new bands, with gutsy reporting, stylish writing, and staffers who've won everything from the Society of Professional Journalists' Sigma Delta Chi feature-writing award to the Casey Medal for Meritorious Journalism. But with local journalism's existence under siege and advertising revenue setbacks having a larger impact, it is important now more than ever for us to rally support behind funding our local journalism.
