Let’s get this straight: There is only one Madonna. Unless, of course, you’re counting the number of times Madge has reinvented her sound and her look throughout history, in which case there are dozens. And last night at the Pepsi Center, they all came out to see the original. There were “Material Girl” Madonnas. There were “Like a Virgin” Madonnas. There were bathrobe-clad Madonnas and Desperately Seeking Susan Madonnas. (There were even some Madonnas with child.) Continue on for photos of our twenty favorite Madonnabes at last night’s show.
