For as long as there’s been metal, there have been gory graphics adorning T-shirts. It’s an essential part of the lifestyle, almost part of a metal head’s identity. Fans wear their favorite shirts like a badge of honor, representing their favorite bands, until they’re threadbare and on the verge of disintegrating. With this in mind, we sent photographer Brandon Marshall, one of our resident metalheads, out in search of the best T-shirts last night at the Mastodon/Opeth/Ghost show at the Fillmore Auditorium. Page down to see what he brought us back.
