Reminder: Today is the last day to get discounted tickets for the 2012 Westword Music Showcase. If you haven’t noticed, this year’s lineup is stacked. Thought Chromeo and Ghostland Observatory brought it before? When Girl Talk closes out the mainstage, we have no doubt he’ll make past years seem like a quaint get little get together with a few friends. Confetti cannons, mass craziness, everybody getting down like it’s the last night on earth — if you’ve been to a Girl Talk show, you know exactly what we’re talking about.
And that’s to say nothing of all the dope music you’ll experience beforehand from Macklemore and Ryan Lewis, Battles, Black Joe Lewis and the Honeybears and Baywood — and that’s in addition to the best local acts!
