After a sold out show in Boulder last night, Gillian Welch (due tonight at the Arvada Center) gifts fans with a second appearance in Colorado, while closing out the season for the outdoor venue. Along with her longtime musical collaborator David Rawlings, Welch brings stories of tragedy and addiction to light through a gentle, bluegrass approach.
Not having toured together since 2004, Welch and Rawlings have hit the road in support of the twosome's first record in eight years, The Harrow & The Harvest. This show is all ages, and tickets are $35. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., and the concert begins at 7:30 p.m.
