Tonight, Casselman's will be rocking for the show being hailed as simply, Good Times. And that's just what it sounds like, a plain old good time, a great excuse to party like it's Friday night. There's going to be live performances from Lamp! Food Chain, S.O.L.I.D, Fresh Breath Committee and DJ Cavem. We expect to see a plentiful good amount of rug cutting from everybody on hand.

Lamp! The resident every other Wednesday band at Appaloosa is known for providing live instrumentation in the realm of funk, soul and other beat passages apt for any MC to test their chops against the melodies. The two big hip-hop crews on the bill, Fresh Breath Committee and Food Chain are also heralded for the live performance aspect of their brand and rarely fail to bring the ruckus. Astonic Wun will be on site featuring live tattoing. The party starts tonight at 9pm and is $5 at the door ($8 for couples) and is 21+ up.

Keep Westword Free... Since we started Westword, it has been defined as the free, independent voice of Denver, and we would like to keep it that way. Offering our readers free access to incisive coverage of local news, food and culture. Producing stories on everything from political scandals to the hottest new bands, with gutsy reporting, stylish writing, and staffers who've won everything from the Society of Professional Journalists' Sigma Delta Chi feature-writing award to the Casey Medal for Meritorious Journalism. But with local journalism's existence under siege and advertising revenue setbacks having a larger impact, it is important now more than ever for us to rally support behind funding our local journalism. You can help by participating in our "I Support" membership program, allowing us to keep covering Denver with no paywalls.
