Things are moving along swimmingly for The Epilogues, due tonight at the Bluebird with fellow locals My Body Sings Electric and Input (both celebrating new CDs this evening), Monroe Monroe and Mr. Right. So swimingly, in fact, that tonight's appearance was added after the show this Friday (an official Westword Music Showcase pre-party) with MBSE, Input, Regret Night and Between Fate sold out.
The two nights also serve as the celebratory release of the band's latest video, "The Fallout," which the quartet raised funds for via a successful Kickstarter campaign in December.
Fresh off a trip to SXSW, The Epilogues happily bring their razor-sharp synths and dark guitar-pop melodies back to the strong Denver fan base the group has developed over four-plus years together. This show is sixteen and up, and tickets are $9.33-$15. Doors open at 7 p.m., and bands start at 8 p.m.
