The crew from Ugly Azz Ent, which includes Julox, Lil Rip and Double O Purv, among others, has churned out a posse record in every sense of the word with Da Good Da Bad and Ugly. While the rhyme schemes and flows of these MCs aren’t necessarily impeccable, the simple production combined with the dirty-style trunk-throbbing sounds make the album listenable. With themes centered on fly bitches, getting money and getting fucked up, Julox shines easily on cuts like “Paul N Coca Cola,” while newcomer Shoota easily carries most of the joints featuring his verses. If you dig that heavy underground Southern sound, this one is for you.
