Support the independent voice of Denver and help keep the future of Westword free.

Since it started in 1995, the Westword Music Showcase has grown to become Denver's largest single-day music festival. The 2019 Showcase is set for Saturday, June 29, when more than 75 local bands and national headliners will perform at stages and venues throughout the Golden Triangle. Those national headliners include Jauz, Bishop Briggs, Crooked Colours, Lovelytheband and Shaed, with more to be announced in the weeks to come.

And the Showcase has a new presenting sponsor: Breckenridge Brewery.

Since this is our 25th Westword Music Showcase, we're offering a very special deal when our presale starts at 10 a.m. today: The first 2,500 general admission tickets will be sold for just $25 each. VIP tickets will go for just $65. This exclusive presale for Westword readers ends at 11:59 p.m. Friday, February 1.

Go to the Westword Music Showcase website and enter the presale code "showcase25" to get these deals.

When Showcase tickets go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. Saturday, February 2, general admission tickets will be $35 and VIP tickets will cost $85. You can buy tickets at Eventbrite then, too; find out more at the Westword Music Showcase website

Remember, the $25 tickets go to the first 2,500 music fans who log on to westwordshowcase.com after 10 a.m. today, January 29.

In the meantime, here's a look at the 2018 Westword Music Showcase:

Keep Westword Free... Since we started Westword, it has been defined as the free, independent voice of Denver, and we would like to keep it that way. Offering our readers free access to incisive coverage of local news, food and culture. Producing stories on everything from political scandals to the hottest new bands, with gutsy reporting, stylish writing, and staffers who've won everything from the Society of Professional Journalists' Sigma Delta Chi feature-writing award to the Casey Medal for Meritorious Journalism. But with local journalism's existence under siege and advertising revenue setbacks having a larger impact, it is important now more than ever for us to rally support behind funding our local journalism. You can help by participating in our "I Support" membership program, allowing us to keep covering Denver with no paywalls.
