An April storm disrupted the scheduled 4/20 rally and concert featuring Wiz Khalifa and Lil Wayne, but the artists and festivities will finally arrive in Denver this Saturday, May 21. Though it may seem anticlimactic a month later, the weather should be gorgeous this time around, and huge crowds are expected for the free concert at Civic Center Park.

In addition to rapper Lil Wayne (whose performance chops our writers have gone to the mats for), Wiz Khalifa has a lot of fans in Denver (and even business ties). Now Nativ Hotel has announced it will host the "official 4/20 rally after-party" with special guest Wiz Khalifa. DJ Bonics, who performs with Khalifa, will play at the event.

4/20 Rally After-party with DJ Bonics and special guest Wiz Khalifa will happen at Nativ Hotel, 1612 Wazee Street.

Keep Westword Free... Since we started Westword, it has been defined as the free, independent voice of Denver, and we would like to keep it that way. Offering our readers free access to incisive coverage of local news, food and culture. Producing stories on everything from political scandals to the hottest new bands, with gutsy reporting, stylish writing, and staffers who've won everything from the Society of Professional Journalists' Sigma Delta Chi feature-writing award to the Casey Medal for Meritorious Journalism. But with local journalism's existence under siege and advertising revenue setbacks having a larger impact, it is important now more than ever for us to rally support behind funding our local journalism.
