Alleged daycare molester Ben Janicki charged with assault on fourth child

As we suspected last week, more charges have been filed against alleged pedophile Benjamin Janicki. The nineteen-year-old Janicki had already been arrested and accused with sexual assault on three little girls at the Park Hill United Methodist Church Children's Center, and today the DA's office says they have evidence of assault on a fourth.

Sadly, the two new charges to be tacked on --sexual assault on a child and sexual assault on a child by a person in a position of trust -- might not be the last. Channel 7 is reporting that Janicki may have admitted to molesting as many as thirteen kids in all, and that fifty children are being interviewed.

According to Janicki's original arrest affidavit, the mother of one of the girls attending the day care called police to report that her daughter told her that "Ben," who works as a preschool teacher, had "licked and tickled her vagina," despite the young girl's pleas to stop.

Janicki remains in custody in the Denver Detention Center on a $500,000 bond (hopefully in general population). Janicki will appear in Denver County court on August 24, when he will be formally charged.
