Anwar al-Awlaki, reportedly killed in Yemen, joins list of terrorists with Colorado connections

Anwar al-Awlaki, a cleric with alleged ties to the Fort Hood shootings and the underwear bomber, was reportedly killed in Yemen, but his death strikes close to home. Born in New Mexico, he attended Colorado State, where he studied civil engineering and attended a mosque near campus.
