Cannabis Calendar for the Week of September 22: Doughnuts, Music and Pot

Like ribs? Like doughnuts? Like music? Like pot? Hopefully you've snatched up an invite to tonight's Wellspring Collective anniversary party. If not, well, we've got plenty more pot-related events where that came from. Here they are:

Wellspring hosts an invite-only ribs-and-doughnuts anniversary bash at Cervantes' Other Side, 2637 Welton Street, featuring YAMN, Nathaniel Rateliff and the Night Sweats, and Dean Ween and Glenn McLelland of Ween. It happens on Monday, September 22; call 303-297-1772 or visit

The Grow School continues intensive one-day courses that will teach you everything you need to know about growing marijuana; the course includes a tour of a legal grow. The next classes are Monday, September 22; Wednesday, September 24; Saturday, September 27; Sunday, September 28; Saturday, October 4; Sunday, October 5; and beyond. The Marijuana Tech Startup Competition is seeking the next best marijuana technology; startups, enthusiasts and investors are invited to hear speakers, watch demos and see the rising tech stars of the industry. There's a bring-your-own-cannabis (BYOC) party in Grand Junction on Friday, September 26 -- the Canna-Ball, featuring a DJ, speakers and more. It starts at 7 p.m., and tickets are $20 to $25. Learn more here.

Get creative at Puff, Pass and Paint, where you can paint and explore your creativity in an environment where consuming cannabis is encouraged. Classes run from 7 to 9 p.m. on Saturday, September 27; Saturday, October 4; Saturday, October 11; and beyond. Admission is $50. Visit to learn more.

The Colorado Hemp Project hosts a harvest festival, the Hemp Harvest Party, on Sunday, September 28, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. in Sterling. It features a hemp maze, live music, a farmer's market, speakers, activities for kids and more. Admission is $10 to $50. Visit for more information.
