Dan Maes tweets battle cry after Hank Brown endorsement drop: "Do not waiver! Never quit!"

Dan Maes might have some fight left in him after all.

Amid Hank Brown's retracted endorsement, campaign financing malaise and allegations that he exaggerated his responsibilities as a member of a Kansas police department, Maes today tweeted from the storm. And he didn't need anywhere near 140 characters.

Here's his latest message:

Do not waiver! Never quit!less than a minute ago via web

Of course, this battle cry will ring embarrassingly hollow if Maes is absent from his high-noon debate showdown with John Hickenlooper and Tom Tancredo at Channel 12. But it'll do for the next hour and a half or so.
