Was Nextdoor on the Money With Denver’s Friendliest Neighborhood?

If any platform knows annoying and unfriendly, it’s Nextdoor. Perhaps that helped the community website rank Mile High hoods.
Based on how its residents used the Nextdoor app, Denver's eastern-most neighborhood was named the city's friendliest of 2025.

Are some parts of Denver more friendly than others? According to Nextdoor, yes — and it tends to get friendlier the further you get away from downtown.

According to the popular community app and website, Green Valley Ranch is Denver’s friendliest neighborhood.

The east Denver neighborhood took the top spot in Nextdoor’s recent Friendliest Places to Live in Denver list based on how residents interacted with each other on the platform, which allows people to post and message each other after registering within their neighborhoods.

Nextdoor based its ranking on a Neighborhood Friendliness Score that weighs the amount of positive comments, pride in a neighborhood and promotion of local businesses. It also scores how neighborhoods welcome new residents and fulfill requests for help or recommendations.
