Derek Wolfe, Broncos Star, Caught on Video Throwing Punch in VIE Nightclub

This is what happens when you're on a Super Bowl-winning team: Video of you throwing a punch in a nightclub ends up on TMZ even when the cops aren't called.

The footballer in question is Broncos defensive lineman Derek Wolfe.

He's one of the most identifiable members of the team, and among the brashest.

As an example, check out his pose at the center of this photo, from the Broncos' Super Bowl victory parade.

According to TMZ, Wolfe was at VIE Nightclub on Saturday night when a scuffle got underway near him.

The site quotes witnesses as saying the disagreement was over someone "talking trash" to Wolfe and a pal.

Wolfe can definitely be seen swinging in video on view below, if not connecting.

However, the aforementioned TMZ source maintains that Wolfe was hit in the face with a bottle "and left the club bloodied."

Nonetheless, police weren't called and no one's commenting about what went down — yet.

Oh, the price of fame. Here's the TMZ video.
