President Donald Trump's son Eric will come to Golden as the keynote speaker for a conservative gala on June 21, when he'll speak on political stakes in 2025 "and why states like Colorado need bold, bottom-up leadership," according to the Rocky Mountain Voice, the event organizer.

The president's son will speak at the first-ever Mountain Majesty Gala hosted by the Rocky Mountain Voice, which was founded in January 2024 by former Republican gubernatorial candidate Heidi Ganahl as a conservative-leaning media platform.

"The Mountain Majesty Gala brings together influential conservatives, grassroots leaders, media voices and political power players for one bold mission: to take back Colorado," according to the Voice. "This isn't politics as usual — it’s the launch pad for the most strategic and energized conservative movement this state has seen in decades."

In addition to being the second-oldest son of President Trump, Eric runs the Trump Organization, the family's main business, alongside his older brother, Don Jr. However, he doesn't work in the White House and never had as strong a presence there as his older sister, Ivanka, and brother-in-law Jared Kushner, who was a senior advisor for Trump.

The up-and-coming Voice is banking on the gala and Trump's appearance to help establish it as "Colorado's leading conservative news platform," the site wrote in a preview of the event

The Denver Marriott West, at 1717 Denver West Boulevard, is set to host Eric Trump and the gala. The event will be less than three months after the Colorado GOP struggled to nail down a venue to host conservative pundit and former Trump White House advisor Steve Bannon for a similar gala in late March.

An undisclosed location in the Denver Tech Center was supposed to host Bannon and the Colorado GOP's "Golden Age" gala before it was canceled in early March. The Colorado GOP then moved the gala to the Antler Hotel in Colorado Springs before that hotel also canceled on March 18. Ultimately, the gala was hosted at Phil Long Music Hall in the Springs, a former Boot Barn that's been used for other large Republican gatherings.

Protesters organized swift responses to the news of Bannon's visit. They initially targeted the wrong DTC hotel with angry phone calls and boycotts, but on the day of the gala, about 100 protesters showed up to block cars and hold up signs calling Bannon a Nazi.

On the r/DenverProtests Subreddit, a hub for anti-Trump organizers, protesters are already calling for a demonstration against Eric Trump's appearance.

The June 21 gala is scheduled to begin at 5 p.m. Ticket prices start at $200 for a single general admission ticket, which is more than the $150 charged to see Bannon. However, for $2,500, you can meet Eric, take a picture with him and stay for a VIP nightcap and whisky tasting, which is more than the $1,500 charged for a meet-and-greet with Bannon at his gala.
