At around 7 p.m. last night, Lakewood Police officers rolled onto the 1800 block of Kendall Street following reports of a shooting.
They soon found a fatally injured man inside a unit at the Plaza De Lago apartments — and they’re looking for three men who may be responsible for his condition.
The LPD describes the suspects as three Hispanic males in their twenties seen driving a champagne or gold-colored sports-utility vehicle — possibly a Chevy Suburban. The license plate may include a “D” and the numbers 2 and 7, although their order isn’t clear.
Thus far, the victim has not been identified. Meanwhile, the investigation remains very active. Call 303-987-7111 with any information.
