It’s Friday. You don’t want to work, that’s why you’re reading blogs and watching the minutes crawl painfully by. Because I understand your pain, here’s a link to a great collection of old-school video games recreated in Flash. These are simple, one- or two-button controlled Game & Watch-style games, perfect for zoning out in a state of nostalgic bliss while you wait for 5:30 and happy hour to arrive. If the boss is around, you might need to turn the speakers down; some of these are pretty loud.
If you don’t like actual games, there’s even a virtual Speak & Spell that should push a few fond-childhood-memory buttons, but I have no idea if it’s possible to hack the code together with a Flash-powered blender in order to contact the home planet. Sorry. — Cory Casciato
