For the Spring Polo Party at the Phipps Mansion, high society meets YouTube

We tend to think of the upper crusters as living in a different world than the rest of us -- and liking it that way. But society queen/former Westword feature subject Holly Kylberg and Tom Lorz are actually reaching out to the rabble in relation to their latest event: One Past 5: The Spring Polo Party, which takes place on Thursday, April 30, at the historic Phipps Mansion. Even though attendance for the bash is limited to 125 people, Kylberg and Lorz authorized a YouTube video to publicize the gathering among the little people. KEEP WESTWORD FREE... Since we started Westword, it has been defined as the free, independent voice of Denver, and we'd like to keep it that way. With local media under siege, it's more important than ever for us to rally support behind funding our local journalism. You can help by participating in our "I Support" program, allowing us to keep offering readers access to our incisive coverage of local news, food and culture with no paywalls.
