Jennifer Hudson wisely fleeing the little people.
Most of the celebrities and performers on hand at Barack Obama's Invesco Field at Mile High acceptance speech no doubt came and went through entrances as special as they are. I was surprised, then, that during a walk on the stadium's general access lower level with my daughter, Lora, we stumbled upon singer/actress Jennifer Hudson, who would deliver a scorching version of the National Anthem a few hours later. She'd clearly made a wrong turn, winding up in the middle of the masses, and she desperately wanted out -- so I chased after her to get the super-flattering photo here. Afterward, Lora told me it was really cool seeing Hudson up-close, except for the part where I acted like a stalking asshole. Welcome to my world. -- Michael Roberts
