Mile High Murder, No. 13: Man shot in head at 2400 block of South Federal

The bloodshed continues. According to the Denver Police Department, a man who was shot in the head on the 2400 block of South Federal, an area captured in the graphic above (if you have problems seeing the image, click "View Larger Map"). He died early this morning at Denver Health Medical Center. The official release can be viewed below.

Homicide 2400 S. Federal

On June 5, 2009, at approxamatley 8:42 p.m., Denver Police Officers responded to 2400 S. Federal Boulevard on a report of a shooting. Upon their arrival, they located a shooting victim who had sustained a gunshot wound to his head. The victim was transported to Denver Health Medical Center where he died on June 6, 2009, at 6:09 a.m. Through the investigation it was determined that the victim was parked in front of 2400 S. Federal Boulevard where he became involved in a verbal altercation with the suspect. The suspect pulled out a hand gun and shot the victim. The suspect fled from the area by unknown means.
