That was quick.

Earlier today, we told you about a roommate-on-roommate shooting at 5300 W. Arizona Avenue in Lakewood. Now comes word that the Lakewood Police Department has arrested Kalani Opana, 54, in relation to the crime, which left one man dead and another injured.

As for the photo included here: On a scale if benign to terrifying, I'd rate it terrifying-plus.

Update information:

Lakewood Police began investigating a homicide earlier this morning. At approximately 4:15 am this morning, August 4th, 2009, Lakewood Police received a report of a shooting at 5300 W Arizona Ave. in the City of Lakewood.

The suspect, Kalani Opana (DOB: 10/19/54) complied with police and was taken into custody without incident. He has been jailed at Jefferson County Jail on murder charges. The case will be turned over to the Jeff DA's for formal charging in the future.

A third party was present in the home and was uninjured. All three men were determined to be residents in the home.

Victim information will be available pending family notifications.
