Mile High Murder No. 5: Security guard killed at the El Chapparal club

Although the Denver Police Department has not yet issued an official release (at least not one we've received), numerous news agencies are reporting about a shooting late last night at the El Chapparal nightclub, 2727 W. 6th Avenue, a venue captured in the graphic above (if you have trouble seeing the image, click "View Larger Map"). Apparently, someone in a crowd opened fire, striking two security guards, one of whom died. The DPD is looking for a dark sedan with broken windows. More information as it becomes available.
