Mile High Murder, No. 6: Reward for information about slaying of Ivory Mefford

Yesterday, the Denver Coroner's Office identified the victim in a homicide at the 3100 block of North Franklin as Ivory Mefford, 28. Now, the DPD has released a photo of Mefford, who appears to have had a brush with the law in the past (the image here doesn't look like a senior picture), as well as a shot of the address where his body was found, which is now being identified as "the 1600 block of 31st Avenue." A reward of up to $2,000 for information leading to the arrest of his killer or killers is also on the table. Get the information, and see the other image, after the jump.

On May 30, 2009, Ivory Mefford was shot and killed in the 1600 block of East 31st Avenue. Mr. Mefford's body was discovered next to an RTD bus bench at this location at approximately 5:30 a.m. The Denver Police Department and Mr. Mefford's family is requesting anyone with information on this homicide or Mr. Mefford's friends and associates please call Crime Stoppers.
