While a just-concluded storm brought less snow than originally forecast to Denver metro — but plenty of bone-chilling temperatures — the mountains were dumped on in a huge way, and the folks at Aspen/Snowmass couldn’t be happier. “OVER A FOOT OF POW and still coming down!” exclaims the intro to a batch of incredible photos shared on the resort Facebook page. The staff’s advice? “Time to call in sick, use a vacation day or quit your job” — and you’ll definitely be tempted when you see photographer Jeremy Swanson’s images below.
