The La Alma swimming pool in Lincoln Park is Denver’s oldest, making its debut way back in 1912. But it sure doesn’t look like it thanks to a new, improved pool and adjacent pool house paid for by a $3 million reconstruction and upgrade from the Better Denver Bond Program. Photographer Christopher Morgan was on hand to document Friday’s grand opening, which featured political heavyweights, Lincoln Park neighbors and the Huitzilopochtli Dance Group. See them below.
