Tonight, Mayor Michael Hancock will honor fifteen Denver projects -- some old, some new -- for excellence in architecture, design and placemaking at the annual Mayor's Design Awards ceremony, which will start at 6 p.m. tonight at another landmark: The Forney Transportation Museum, 4303 Brighton Boulevard. The honreers range from the massive new 2020 Lawrence to the renovation of the EZE Mop complex. See photos of the winners below.

"We have historic buildings made new again through careful renovation," Hancock says, "and a few brand-new buildings built to look like they've been there for 100 years."
