Reader: Charging for New Lane on I-70 Is Bullsh*t!

Our post about the approval of rates for the new toll lanes on part of I-70 generated some strong reactions among readers.

One reason: The top price, which had previously been announced as $30, will actually cost drivers $40 thanks to a $10 surcharge.

Plenty of folks feel the fees for the lanes, which are expected to open in December, are excessive.

This one, however, thinks charging anything for them is wrong, based on his experience in another state. Here's what he had to say.

This is BULLSHIT. In Massachusetts you can use the shoulder or "Breakdown Lanes" for Free during peak traffic. A big Fuck Off to whoever is charging a fee for this.
