Reader finds link between beaten Broncos fan and unfair treatment of rape victims

One of our favorite things about comments is when a reader comes up with an entirely new way of looking at something. That happened on our item about a Broncos fan beaten up in San Diego, apparently for wearing a Denver jersey. The post's author rejects the blame-the-victim mentality that's all too often applied to another terrible crime.

Misco writes:

Wow, if this was a rape victim, everyone would be going "dude, he totally deserved it... I mean, look at what he was wearing, he was practically ASKING for it!"
