Our post about the killing of Raymond Garcia, who was hit by seven (of seventeen) shots by Greeley police officers after he pulled a gun during a prostitution sting, prompted reactions that split about evenly between those critical of the cops and readers with little sympathy for their target. The following post falls into the latter category.
Jené Hammond writes:
Police are not out of control... People are.... Give an inch take a mile.... People have lost their minds and expect to be babied. And maybe if some of you people would control yourselves and stop committing crimes it would seem like such a police state.... Stop always blaming the cops!
