Earlier this month, we told you about the latest acquisition by Nuggets and Avalanche owner Stan Kroenke: the W.T. Waggoner Estate Ranch in Texas.
The largest ranch within one fence in the country, the Waggoner measures at 800 square miles — a size that, as we noted, is larger than more than twenty countries, including Bahrain, Tonga, Singapore, the Federated States of Micronesia and Barbados.
But how does it compare to other countries, states and cities, including Denver?
Brian Vaughn Shreckengast has created a series of maps originally shared at the SelfStorage.com Moving blog that answer the question visually.
As you'll see, the ranch is larger than the entire Denver metro area — it would cover land from DIA to west of Evergreen — as well as New York City, Los Angeles and more.
