The first game of the first round of the NHL playoffs is scheduled today and hockey wizards are saying that the San Jose Sharks will take the Colorado Avalanche in five. I’m much more optimistic and can safely predict that Avalanche fans will see the Stanley Cup in Colorado this year — but only if they turn their eyes away from the TV and look to the skies above the South Platte neighborhood warehouse district.
