Denver is usually thought to be one of the more liberal communities in Colorado.

But one area of the city in particular turns out to be a hotbed of love for presumptive Republican Party presidential nominee Donald Trump.

The source of the information is the Wall Street Journal, which compiled Federal Election Commission data to determine the zip codes that contributed the most to Trump and Democratic Party presidential front-runner Hillary Clinton between January 2015 and April 2016.

Clinton's ten top zips are exclusively in New York and the Washington, D.C., area, as are five on the Trump list — though the dollar amounts in his case are considerably smaller, since he initially self-financed his campaign. However, the Donald also draws well from Florida, California, Texas and a moneyed part of Denver.

Continue to count down the ten zip codes that contributed the most to Trump during the aforementioned period, featuring WSJ data and graphics courtesy of MapTechnica.com.
