The Denver Post is a little late to the fart party. Today, the Post had a story about the court battle between two Apple iPhone app creators — one of them based in Loveland — over the phrase “pull my finger.” The same story was covered by other local and national media last month. (Click here to read Westword‘s blog on the subject, “Only in 21st-century America: Warring fartlords head to court.”)

But that’s okay. The headline on today’s Post story makes up for it. The banner reads: “‘Pull My Finger’ lets loose dispute.” Hee hee! The story itself is also well-written and funny, set up by a lead that says it all: “This is a story about making flatulence sounds on your iPhone. Go ahead, giggle.” Who says newspapers are unhip?
