Having just completed their most exciting season in years, the Denver Nuggets are smart to get into contact with fans about next season while they’re still buzzing from the team’s just-ended playoff run. After all, the Nugs’ bandwagon is more crowded than ever right now. Still, the franchise might want to work on personalizing its outreach efforts. A local on the Nuggets’ mailing list recently received an e-mail inviting him to take a survey “about your preferences for NBA game tickets. The information we gather will be used to develop the best ticket products and offers for you and the rest of our fans.” Problem is, the note was addressed like so:
“Dear ~NameFirst~”
Well, at least it’s a little friendlier than if it had been sent to “Dear ~NameLast~”….
