Blogs — and take note, you are reading this in a blog — aren’t the wave of the future. Blogs are the here and now, the thing of the moment, where grassroots communications are dealt right over the top of the table, straight-forward, via the Internet. It’s where we can all ask the question, “I think this, how about you?” It’s where we all can shoot the shit without leaving home. I’m not here to judge, either. I’m just sayin’…

So it was only a matter of time before someone tried to bring the modern form of cyber give-and-take to the stage. And the Denver blogger (and former Rocky Mountain News clubs columnist) Dave Flomberg is the guy who did it. The resulting show, Below the Fold: A Blog on Stage (the genesis of which I previously outlined for this Night & Day item), is wrapping up its run at the John Hand Theater, 7653 E. First Place in Lowry, today and tomorrow at 7:30 p.m. If you act fast, all tickets reserved in advance are only $10 — a real deal considering the going price of $15 to $17. To find out what Dave thinks about, call 720-984-0781, or
e-mail equinoxtheatreco@yahoo.com for details.
