These queens are most certainly not the “let them eat cake” variety: I can’t count the number of times Denver’s favorite dragster Nuclia Waste, aka mild-mannered humanitarian David Westman, and his/her ravishing Demented Divas have put it all on — feathers, frills and mustaches, too — to go all out for charity, tongues firmly in cheeks.

Tonight’s just another night, in that respect, for Nuclia’s kindhearted troupe, who will call the numbers at the MS Young Professional Network’s annual Drag Queen Bingo Bash benefit for the Rocky Mountain MS Center, with every ounce of the usual panache we’ve come to expect from them. To handle the overflow for this popular event, the balls drop twice, beginning at 6 or 8:30 p.m. at Lannie’s Clocktower Cabaret, 1601 Arapahoe Street. Admission is $35 in advance or $40 at the door. To secure tickets beforehand, log on to Lannie’s or call 303-293-0075. For details visit the MS Center website. — Susan Froyd
