In a wonderful marriage of food and fashion, tonight’s Do At The Zoo should present fabulous eats from over 40 of Denver’s top restaurants as well as plenty of fashionable guests in tropical cocktail attire. The event is themed “Silk and Spice” and proceeds will help to build the zoo’s new Asian Tropics conservation center. In addition to the spread of exotic food, you can expect to get up close and personal with a few of the zoo’s animals — there is a 6:30 p.m. lion and African wild dog feeding and gerenuk and elephant demonstrations later in the evening.

Doors to the event open at 6:30 p.m. and you can purchase tickets at the door; you must 21 or older to attend. Tickets are $150 for zoo members, $125 for Junior non-members (ages 21-29) and $175 for non-members. For more information, visit www.denverzoo.org/doatthezoo/.
