This week, we’ve decided to select a favorite Twit from among the masses and press him to justify his following. Our selection is @CacheFlowe (aka Justin Gitlin), a local musician/artist/technical whiz-kid with a hand in many a music and/or art project around town. Plus, if you like your men nerdy, he’s real dreamy, or so we’ve been told by a couple women we know who do like their men nerdy — which, of course, is why they were talking to us. After the jump, get to know CacheFlowe in 140-character bursts…
@DenverWestword: Justify your following. Why should people follow you on Twitter?
@CacheFlowe: Follow me for banter about music, Denver, bicycling, code, art, social commentary, shameless self-promotion. I’m soooo relevant.
@DenverWestword: What brought you to Twitter?
@CacheFlowe: I work in advertising and it was the hot new industry buzz word. turns out it’s a brilliant new form of communication & thought distribution
@DenverWestword: What do you tweet about usually?
@CacheFlowe: I’ll tweet about what’s on the mind if it seems important. I try to keep it positive/informative/fun. see answer #1
@DenverWestword: What keeps you busy offline (aka in real life)?
@CacheFlowe: outside the Twittersphere/verse I write and play electronic music as CacheFlowe, run a record label Plastic Sound Supply, make web sites,
@CacheFlowe:participate in political activism, snowboard, yoga, and promote sustainability, vegetarianism, intellectualism, and other positive things.
@DenverWestword: Finally, open tweeting: Last chance to say something to convince doubters to follow you: GO!
@CacheFlowe: I recently stopped shaving for 3 weeks and felt like I had lost my individualism upon entering a hip art opening downtown. ocean of beards.
@DenverWestword: Awesome. Any last tweets before we let you get back to whatever you do when you aren’t being interviewed via Twitter?
@CacheFlowe: let’s get shameless. come see me play this Saturday at Whomp-O-Ween: & check out my new vid
