Update: Taylor Goodboe and her three-year-old daughter, Emma Williamson, who were reported missing over the weekend, have been found safe.

According to the Colorado Springs Police Department, Goodboe "was not in contact with concerned parties previously of her own free will."

That vague statement is clarified by KRDO-TV, which reports that Goodboe and Williamson were in the community of Florissant, not far from Colorado Springs, to attend a funeral scheduled for Saturday, June 20. Her loved ones were panicked when the pair didn't show up for the ceremony.

However, Goodboe simply decided that she "needed some space" and split.

Here's the KRDO-TV report, followed by our previous coverage.

Original post, 6:55 a.m. June 22: On Friday, June 19, Taylor Goodboe, 25, and her daughter, three-year-old Emma Williamson, headed off on a shopping trip.

They haven't been seen since.

Now, the Colorado Springs Police Department has put out an alert for the pair, noting that the person who reported them missing — Taylor's mother — views the circumstances as "suspicious."

Goodboe lives with her husband and Emma in Westminster. This past week, however, they were visiting her mom in Florissant, a small community west of Woodland Park (and Colorado Springs) on Highway 24.

After Goodboe and Williamson failed to materialize after their shopping trip to Colorado Springs, CSPD investigators contacted Goodboe's husband in Westminster. He confirmed that his wife and daughter had not returned from Florissant. Neither had he heard from them.

Likewise, attempts to reach Goodboe by phone "had negative results," the CSPD reveals.

The CSPD describes Goodboe as five-feet, three-inches tall and 200 pounds, with blond hair and blue eyes. Emma is characterized as a three-foot-two, thirty pound toddler with brown hair and brown eyes.

Here's a photo of Emma shared by the CSPD....

The pair were last seen traveling in a silver Nissan Altima with a Colorado temporary tag with the number 620613N in the rear window. Also in that window is a three-inch round Planet Fitness sticker.
