I'm pretty sure when DARPA was inventing the Internet back in the late '60s, organizing squirt gun fights and documenting them via tools such as YouTube and blogs were exactly what they had in mind (well, that and porn). Now Denver residents can fully reap the fruits of what DARPA sowed so long ago, as the Denver Squirt Gun Association is heading into its second year of operation -- full-speed ahead, damn the (water-balloon) torpedoes, and recording the whole thing for future generations to enjoy.
The fine men and women of the DSGA are having their second fight of the year at 3 p.m. tomorrow, at Commons Park. Their blog and Twitter feed tell me they will have plenty of squirt guns available if you can't scrounge one up yourself -- so hit those links for additional details and a bit of the group's history. And after the jump, find an embedded video of their first battle of the year (probably NSFW due to some language and shirtless dude flesh).
