"We want people to be intrigued by new restaurants or tantalized by menus from some of their favorites and go on line and book reservations right away," says Richard Scharf, president and CEO of Visit Denver.
Visit Denver will continue to add restaurants and menus to the list as they receive submissions. The organization announced late last year that the two separate weeks -- one in the February and one in August -- that they had organized in 2014 would be consolidated into one ten-day period this year. Over the years, the event had evolved from its original seven-day span to a two-week run (which restaurants employees found a little too taxing) to two separate one-week events.
