Watch your backside, Hooters. BenchWarmers is coming for you.
The up and coming Colorado-based sports bar chain, "where beautiful girls will serve you fantastic food, cold beer, and cocktails as you enjoy an uninterrupted view of the game" already has two restaurants in Aurora and Erie and will open a third in Centennial by the end of June.
"I was at a Colorado Avalanche game one evening with friends," says founder and chief executive officer Kevin Foote, explaining how he started the venture. "We overheard some of the fans complaining about how cold they were and how it would be so much better to be watching the game in a warm environment, with good food, cold beer, and beautiful women serving them!"
If all goes according to plan, the company will have eight or nine restaurants in the state by the end of the year, neck and neck with fellow sports + scantily clad server enthusiasts Hooters, which currently has eight restaurants in the state.

BenchWarmers also plans restaurants in Arizona, Arkansas and Kansas, though the thrust of its efforts are centered on Colorado. Like Hooters, BenchWarmers serves up wings, ribs, sandwiches and similar bar fare. Rather than white tanks and orange hot pants however, BenchWarmers ladies dress as referees. Ow!
