On its answering machine,
Big Hoss Bar-B-Q still refers to the mishap that closed the restaurant as a "minor kitchen fire," but recovering from the
late June incident has turned into a major pain.
Initially, Big Hoss had hoped to reopen by July 4, then by July 6 (the date still offered on the answering machine). But now word has come down that Big Hoss will really, really re-open its doors at 3961 Tennyson Street at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, July 15, when it will offer "the hottest July deals," including $2 PBR pints and $9.99 New York strips.
