The Denver Art Museum pops the cork on a weekend of fun with the museum's spring fundraiser, Uncorked. From 6 to 9 p.m. tonight, the museum will host a tasting featuring more than 300 wines from Colorado and beyond, spread through three tasting areas manned by winemakers and winery representatives, as well as food from Kevin Taylor Catering, a silent auction and more. Tickets are $100 for museum members, $135 for non-members and $55 for designated drivers. First Taste tickets will also be offered for an additional $45, allowing guests to enter the Uncorked Wine Tasting an hour early at 5 p.m. Tickets can also be purchased at the door for an additional $10, subject to availability. You Are What You Eat, a show of food-centric collages and photography by Barbara Gal, opens at NEXT Gallery with a reception from 5 to 10 p.m. today with food samples and a wine tasting by One Hope Wines. Spangalang Brewery is celebrating its first year in business with a three-day birthday bash today through Sunday, April 10. The brewery will be opening a pop-up patio for the weekend, and pouring a lineup of limited releases each day. There will also be live music, a beer brunch, and more. Denver Beer Co. is releasing its Cocoa Cream Graham Cracker Porter today at noon. The first 100 guests to buy a bomber of the beer will get a seat around Denver Beer Co.'s campfire, where they can make their own smores (supplies provided). For more information, check out the event's Facebook page.
