Food Wars gets sloppers in Pueblo tonight

Gray's Coors Tavern and the Sunset Inn go head to head -- make that slopper to slopper -- tonight on Food Wars on the Travel Channel. A slopper is a messy delicacy unique to Pueblo: an open-face cheeseburger served in a soup bowl, and covered with red or green chile.

The Food Wars crew, including host Camille Ford, was in Pueblo in April, setting up and filming the challenge.

And the winner? Tune in at 8 p.m. to find out. And in the meantime: does anyone know of a spot in Denver serving a slopper?
