Mee Yee Lin was once the town's best dim sum restaurant. But that was before Super Star Asian moved into Alameda Square, and Mee Yee Lin left its down-at-the-heels home at 3090 West Alameda for a much bigger space out east, at 2295 South Chambers Road in Aurora. My meals there were always disappointing, and apparently others thought so, too, because it went dark this summer, as reported at the end of this Bite Me.

And now construction is under way at the space Mee Yee Lin vacated on South Chambers. It's going south of the border for its new tenant: El Viva Villa Mexican restaurant. -- Jason Sheehan
